Season 2, Episode 25 - Being a Possibilitarian

Maria is a sister, daughter and mom.

She arrived in the United States from Vietnam at 10 years old and had to adjust to living in a new country, learn a new language and culture. She lost her identity and this new world was not always welcoming.

She became a teacher and she taught elementary school. Again, school administration was not always welcoming or supportive. She went on to pursue two Masters. One in Education Leadership and the other in Education Technology. She now works as an Education Consultant and has been a Lecturer at the University of Florida.

She’s a runner and self-described ‘possibilitarian’, believing that the world is full of possibility if you bring the right mindset.

In this episode we discussed:

Brené Brown: Daring Greatly, Braving the Wilderness and her podcasts: Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead

Simon Sinek: The Infinite Mindset and Together is Better. His podcast, A Bit of Optimism is one of Linda’s favourites.
